This Privacy Policy explains how Hydren (“Hydren”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit hydren.store, buy from us or contact us. If you have questions, email contact@hydren.store.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details and anything you write to us. This happens when you place an order, create an account, sign up for emails or contact support.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify Payments and our other payment providers, such as PayPal, Klarna, Afterpay, Clearpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Information collected automatically: your device, browser, IP address, approximate location, the pages you view, how you reach our site and how you use it. We collect this through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
  • Information from partners: advertising and analytics partners may tell us how you interacted with our ads, for example that you clicked an ad before visiting.

How we use your information

  • To process, ship and track your order, and to handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To send order and shipping updates.
  • To send marketing emails or texts if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in each message.
  • To show you relevant ads on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and TikTok, and to measure how well those ads work.
  • To run, secure and improve our store, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders.
  • Payment providers, to take payment and prevent fraud.
  • Fulfilment partners and shipping carriers, to pack and deliver your order.
  • Email and messaging providers, to send order updates and marketing you agreed to.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta, Google and TikTok. They may use cookies and pixels on our site to measure and personalise ads.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and our customers.

In some US states, sharing information with advertising partners for targeted ads may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. You can opt out at any time; see “Your rights” below.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and measure our ads. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and, where shown, in our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.

International transfers

Our service providers may process your information outside your country, including in the United States, Canada and the European Union. When we transfer information, we rely on our providers’ safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

How long we keep your information

We keep order information for as long as we need it to fulfil your order, provide warranty support and meet tax and accounting rules, usually up to 7 years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to or restrict how we use it, including for marketing
  • receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • opt out of targeted advertising, or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information
  • withdraw consent you have given us

To use any of these rights, email contact@hydren.store. We will reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Our store is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
